How Does It Work?
When you shop at a participating online merchant and pay with your Jackson
County Bank Debit Card a link will automatically open for MasterCard®
SecureCode™
registration. You will be asked to enter your Debit Card expiration date,
your home zip code, and the last four digits of your social security
number. You will then be prompted to create a SecureCode™
password and personal message.
Once registered, each
time you shop online at participating merchants and pay with your Debit Card
you will be prompted to enter your SecureCode™
password and within seconds your identity will be confirmed and your
purchase complete. An online receipt, with your personal message, will be
generated for each purchase at these participating online merchants.
Do I have to enroll in
MasterCard SecureCode™?
If you are shopping online at a participating online merchant and you try to
make a purchase, the MasterCard®
SecureCode™
link will automatically open. You may opt out up to four times, however
after four times, you will not be able to complete an online order at that
merchant in the future without completing the MasterCard SecureCode™
information.
MasterCard®
SecureCode has been created to reduce the possibility of online fraud and
therefore only applies to online purchases. You may also use
MasterCard®
SecureCode™
to view past purchase receipts and change information on your account
profile. If you would like more information or you have questions relating
to MasterCard®
SecureCode™,
please contact the Accounting Department at 284-5341, ext. 1250.
What if I
forget my SecureCode™
password?
If you forget your password you may call Efunds
Customer Service at 1-866-707-6819. This support line will be
available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
